“A setback has often cleared the way for greater prosperity. Many things have fallen only to rise to more exalted heights.”- Seneca

“This thing in front of you. This issue. This obstacle – this frustrating, unfortunate, problematic, unexpected problem preventing you from doing what you want to do. What if it wasn’t so bad?” – Ryan Holiday.

Kinda, sort-of, crazy! Yes?

What if embedded inside adversity or inherent in it were certain benefits – BENEFITS JUST FOR YOU?
Author Napoleon Hill stated in the classic book Think and Grow Rich, “Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it a seed of equivalent benefit.”

YOUR MINDSET

Our MINDSET is an established set of attitudes held by us. In order for us to see those challenges in a positive light, we need to change our consciousness. We do this by training our minds to look at our adversities as advantageous.

Here are some examples of actions you take to develop a powerful mindset:

  1. Choose to see adversity as an advantage by exploring what is good about it – sit with a spouse or friend and make a list
  2. Seeing that adversity is teaching me something I need to learn – describe these
  3. Adversity is a chance for me to stop and reflect – you have time use it
  4. Adversities make us humble and make us reassess what is important and chart a new  perspective for our life – what are your new perspective, describe them which is very empowering
  5. Adversity will show me the way to become more insightful, more powerful, more kind and compassionate with myself and others
  6. Adversity is temporary – remember that this too will pass, it has an expiration date

When you do the action steps that are suggested above – you will realize that ADVERSITY IS YOUR GREATEST TEACHER.

And always remember that…… life is not happening to you… life is happening for you. Once you grasp this then adversity becomes your ally instead of your enemy.

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO STEAL GOOD FORTUNE FROM MISFORTUNE. However, you have to “Practice” The above suggestions or it is all just lip-service, and you will continue to repeat the same patterns. Remember you need to practice these principles until you own them.

“All the ups and downs are grace in different wrappings, sent to refine consciousness. Say thanks to them all.” – Mooji
